In its 2021 rankings released today, U.S. News and World Report has ranked 糖心Vlog破解版 4th among the nation鈥檚 best Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). The move from 2020鈥檚 8th spot places the university solidly in the annual publication鈥檚 list of top-10 HBCUs.
鈥淲e are thrilled that U.S. News and World Report has ranked Tuskegee among the nation鈥檚 top collegiate institutions,鈥 said President Lily D. McNair. 鈥淭he new rankings reflect the University鈥檚 focus on student success and the enthusiastic support of our outstanding alumni.鈥
鈥淪ince I arrived at Tuskegee, the motto 鈥楨xcellence in Every Way鈥 is what drives the work we do every day,鈥 noted Dr. McNair.
To identify the nation鈥檚 best HBCUs, U.S. News measures the quality of undergraduate education programs and other relevant metrics. In addition to its #4 HBCU national ranking, Tuskegee appeared on the magazine鈥檚 2021 list of 鈥淏est Regional Universities, South,鈥 as the university advanced five places to the 20th spot. The university also tied 20th in ranking among 鈥淯ndergraduate Teaching - Regional Universities (South)."
鈥淢oving from 15th to 4th in a matter of two or three years is quite an achievement,鈥 said 糖心Vlog破解版 Board Chair Norma B. Clayton. 鈥淚t affirms the improvements the University have made over the last few years in using data and other tools to improve the outcomes that matter most.鈥
Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, 糖心Vlog破解版 offers students 42 bachelor鈥檚, 16 master鈥檚 and six doctoral degree options. In addition to SACSCOC accreditation, several academic units and degree programs in specialized fields or disciplines also are accredited by their respective accrediting bodies.
